Instructional Outings & Classes
Sometimes taking an introductory class is a more time and cost effective way to learn about fly fishing. We offer individual, private group and open group instruction throughout the seasons in Texas. Open registration classes are typically held for groups of 5-15 people, and typically have 1 instructor for every five students. Individuals and small groups (2 or more) will be paired up with other students to make their work group.
To inquire about individual or private group instruction, please contact me directly to set up a class time. Individual and private group classes follow the same (or very similar) format as the open group classes but if you have a specific skill set you would like to improve upon, please let me know, and we can tailor a class for your specific skill level and needs.

Each of the instructors in a class have first hand knowledge of fishing throughout the Texas Hill Country and are their to provide each student with factual information and advice about fishing in the area.
The lead instructor in each group is a licensed fishing guide who specializes in fishing in the Texas Hill Country and, quite often, that instructor is assisted by another angler who helps to provide additional information and instruction, as well as helping to untangle any knots that my happen along the way.
